Found a price in Euro's 261.00. This could be a cheaper way of buying it?
DVD-ROM 08A42-1D6-006 FÜR DVD-NAVIGATIONSSYSTEM - BEINHALTET DIE LÄNDER : B, NL, L, D, A, F, I, E, P, DK, CH, GB, SE, FIN, N EUR 261.00* Would be interesting to see if the POI issues have been resoved on this version. I think a long drawn out battle with Honda UK could ensue, claiming that the 2005 version is not 'fit for purpose'. EDIT: In fact looking at this site, man of the accessories are much cheaper on the continent (Shock horror!!! ) - Maybe we could start a group buy section, where enough of us get togetherto justify the shipping costs - or if we have any Long Distance lorry drivers http://uk.search.yahoo.com/language/...ntl=uk&fr=slv1- Last edited by Pottsy; 24th September 2006 at 15:47. Is there any way of finding out what the updated DVD contains that is not in the original?
I asked my local dealer, but they had no idea. |

Hi Guys,
Could someone scan the latest 2006/2007 disc? Customes services don't know what the latest disc is! Also they go by the revision number on the disc rather than the year. Thanks in advance Mike |

About a couple of years ago, the DVD Sat Nav disc supplied with my then C-RV had a relative's address totally missing. The address is question was on a development that had been in existence for at least 25 years. I cannot remember the disc version but I reported it to Honda. About a year later they sent me the next/latest version and the address in question was on it OK.
It just made me think what other information could be missing - on any version that is ???? It is understandable on recent/new developments but not on long established addresses. |

I haven't done this recently as they have refused to acknowledge some basic mapping errors (e.g. being asked to turn right from the A19 on to the A19 near Thirsk, when what they really meant was keep going straight along the A19 dual carriageway). Besides which, if they correct the error, you then have to pay significant money for a replacement DVD/CD anyway. |
