Suggestions for laptop carpc installation?

Any suggestions where to install laptop-carpc in honda civic? My first thought was install it under the passenger seat, but there's not enouh space. Trunk isn't best possible place because it needs very long cables from the back to the front.
So, I was wondering install carpc under the glovebox. I know that air conditition "fans" are blowing air from there, so I have to be careful with them, but any other suggestions or tips? Laptop is standardsize Dell D600 laptop. Under the glovebox seems to be best place...

It does not fit INSIDE the glovebox?
The vent in the glovebox blows the same temperature air as in the rest of the car, so in the winter it blows hot air which is not so good, but the vent can be closed however.

How about under the rear magic seats?

If I install it inside the glovebox, it's wasting of good space...kind of.. and laptop won't after all fit inside..
Under the rear magic seats isn't good place either, because I'm using the "magic" very often, and the magic would disappear if there's laptop with every freakin cable.

Maybe some form of slide out draw from under the glove box. Or maybe some form of railing from under there. Seems like the best place to have it if you wanted to go via the removable laptop.

Good idea.. some sort of sliding...or some sort of rail...under the glovebox. Just got to watch out that aircondition foot vent. Very good idea.. although if I remember right, there is just plastic covering underside glovebox. Not sure if it can carry laptops weight..

Well you could invest in an EEE PC or some form of ultra lightweight laptop if weight is an issue. Besides you'll have to build it specially for the laptop's size anyway i would think.

I got to stay in laptop solution, but if I'm using some sort of streghtening for the plastic-rail-slide- install, it would work just fine. Also there is one advantage, that it won't have to deal with footwell water, just dust..
Also laptops dvd-player can be used when it's not under the seat, or in trunk. Slide is popping laptop out...and dvd-player is usable...

Did more research and it's not possible to install laptop under the glovebox. There just isn't enough space. But... I found a good place behind passengers seat..where the pocket is. Laptop goes 70% hide if I place it there. Also it's not as easy to break by kicking when it's little bit higher than under the glovebox -installation.
Needs little more planning, but that's the place. I need to hide rest 30% of it somehow, and I have to wonder what I'm doing with all cables...
