Gray52 if you have fitted the box then your mirrors should fold in and out with the central locking, if they only fold in and out on the ignition then the circuit is not working correctly.

yes they work as the should, but it was when i fitted the switch on the central locking wire that they worked via the ignition. now all work as they should plus i can turn the mod off it i dont need to keep folding them in.

This was a let down for me, just got the civic from a Peugeot 407 SW... that had mirrors that folded in when you locked the doors..surely Honda could have software mod that does this ??

Unfortunately, the mirrors are hard wired and not controled by the software, so the only way to modify them is to cut into the wireing and add the circuit shown in the "how to" thread.

snap! I have a 407 (Civic pending) and once the auto mirrors are configured, bob's your uncle.

This is a bit of a boob dropped by Honda imo! It surely is just as easy to configure through the software as it is to hard wire?
