Questions about sat nav discs

Hi all. My 56 plate EX has version 3.02 of the sat nav disc. I am hoping to have the version 3.22 discs very soon. Is there anything in paticular I need to do, or look out for, to install the new discs? Do I just pop one in the DVD drive? I've heard that the firmware update is on the second disc, does this mean that I have to put that one in first even though I'm not in eastern Europe? I know these may seem stupid questions but I'm nervous about screwing up something in my very expensive favourite toy (the car, of course!). Hopefully, someone who has upgraded to v3.22 can help.
Once (if) I get v3.22 up & running is there any value to my v3.02 disc? Basically, can I expect anything worthwhile for it if I stick it on fleabay?
Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give me!

Just stick in the 3.22 disc into the DVD player in the glove box and it'll do the rest.

Tells you not to turn off the engine while it's doing it, and takes around 5 minutes.

Then it reboots itself, and voila - the new version is installed. Nothing to it.

What does 3.23 do that 3.22 doesn't? Surely there can't be much difference?

The instructions for installation come with the twin disc pack, in the box.

The 3.22 has bugged firmware (v 2.01) that prevents the red/pink 'heavy traffic' flow lines from appearing.
