Phone Samsung F490

Hi all
I'm actually an imposter as I'm a CR-V owner, but sadly V owners just aren't cool enough to have their own forum.
Anyway, I had an LG viewty that won't work with HFT. So I've ordered a Samsung F490. This was slightly wreckless of me as I have no idea if that will work either. Has anyone tried it yet?

Hi and welcome.....
Google honda HFT and it will give you the HFT website with all phones listed by manufacturer, it will tell you whether your phone is compatable.

Thanks everyone.
The phone isn't listed on the honda list yet, I think it hasn't been tested yet as it's a fairly new phone.
I guess I shall find out when it arrives.....

Any update on this phone handset? I also have a F490 and am looking for a hands-free kit, would be good to know how well it works with the HFT.

Yup! It works fine.... the HFT is crap, but the phone is compatible!

Great, thanks. That gives me more confidence the handset will work with other bluetooth devices. I am looking to get a Parrot MK6100, I have emailed Parrot to see if these units will be definitely compatible with this handset.
