Hi all.

It's finally winter here in Finland and I totally miss heating to the plastic part of the rear window. It's much harder to scrape of the ice from the plastic part of the rear window than the glass part.

Otherwise the car performs quite well incold temperatures.

Maybe this car wasn't made the Scandinavian market in mind.

Well it's only four months of winter left.

Why don't you try a de-icer spray? I have tried and it did not do any harm to the plastic. I don't like the residue that looks like a shaving foam but when you drive there are worse deposits that collect on the car anyway...

Wow Debaser - you have shorter winters than here in the UK

I've only just found out why the top part of the rear heating element doesn't work.... it isn't a heater - it's the aerial - doh! (doesn't work that well as an aerial either )

Well it has been a really strange winter this year.

Normally we get good amount of snow in November and it stays untill the end of April. But this year we had 30 cm of snow for couple of weeks in the beginning of November but after that it has been raining all the time.

Yesterday we had -6 degrees of celcius but today it's again +2 degrees of celcius. At the moment we have only 0,5 cm of snow here in Tampere whch is located about 200 km from Helsinki.

Our local skihill got their first slope opened just today. No much use for the seasons pass yet.

Happy New Year to all.
