Sometimes refuses to disconnect after car is switched off.
Hello
I have this intermittent problem where my phone will sometimes remain paired with the car even after it's been switched off and locked. I will be in the house or whatever and try and make a call but i won't be able to speak as it's still paired and thinks it needs to use the car speakers and mic! This doesn't seem to be a door sensor issue as I have checked by unlocking the car and waiting for it to lock again and doesn't happen all the time. Phone is o2 xda Anyone else had this problem? |

Haven't experienced your problem but you could try updating the phones firmware/software/radio to see if that solves your honda feature. Updating your phone can be a risky business as it may void your warranty and turn it into a brick!!! xda-developers forums\wiki would be a good place to readup on whats involved.

I have this problem too (as does the wife) - it's a pain!! Both using Sony Ericssons (with updated firmwares). Shame Honda don't update the firmware for the HFT!

That must mean that the Civic is not turning off all the electronics ?
Within about 10 seconds of me removing the ignition key the phone flashes up that it's lost connection. I wonder if this is another reason for some having battery problems ? |

Yup I have had a dead battery on 1 occasion also. I took it into the dealer and they made a software fix to one of the bits in the door (i think)
Still noticed yesterday that it was still connected to my phone when i left the car though. |
