Retro fit cruise control
Question for all the tech heads on Civinfo.
On one of my last cars (54 plate Leon Cupra R) I installed a golf tdi stalk added a wire into the ecu loom and after activation of the cruise function on a VAG 1394 tool, had cruise control. This is a common upgrade for those that like to modify in the VAG community My type S (none GT model Has anyone / does anyone know if it's been done. Honestly, I did a search Obviously the function is built into the ECU and I would presume that it is simply a case of 'switching on' at the dealers diagnostic machine once the appropriate stalk is plumbed in. In the Leon it really was a 1 hour job with the biggest hassle being removal of the wheel (and that was straightforward) |

That question has been asked before and I believe that nobody has done it as its not possible, plus the cc is controlled by buttons on the steering wheel which you don't have

There are some generic aftermarket kits out there.
Donīt know why they would not work on a Civic. Retro-fit of the original Honda one is probably not worth trying. |
