Satnav Sat Nav Brightness (Not Bright)

I've tried every colour option, contrast and brightness, yet, the sat nav display is not bright enough in sunlight. Even the maximum brightness is not enough.

Any tweaks, or dealer fixes you can think of?

There have been a few posts about this in the past.

If you have max brightness and you have tweaked the 'Black' and 'Contrast' options to suit then that's it.

Come night I suggest using the daytime settings with lowered brightness as the auto dim feature renders it useless whilst driving.

Thanks for the reply, I guessed that might be the case.

The display on the integrated sat nav touchscreen in the Accord I had was really good. So I'm quite dissappointed with the Civic's display.

It's probably the same unit but the Civic's eyeline positioning does put it right in the sun's firing line on occasions.
