Warnings Ignition key warning

I know this has been brought up before but I can't find it. Can anyone suggest a way to shut up the darn warning sound when the key is in the ignition with the door open?? I live in enough of a nanny state without my car also protecting me from myself!!!!

I would have thought that with software being where it is they could have determined whether you have forgotten to remove the key after a journey or have put it in for another reason.
