fix for speaker on hft

Hi,
I know somewhere there is a home fix for the speaker in the light cluster on the ceiling, where foam pads are fitted to reduce interfering noise.....I had mine in the dealers last week and asked them to do this, but it was obvious they didn't have a clue what I was on about, so instead they reset the system!!
She sometimes does not pick up what I say, i.e. I will say call Jayne......and she says....wait for this it's good.........vous avez choisir francaise!!!!
I have looked for the mod in the wiki but can't seem to locate it......any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks,
Graham.

There is no speaker there, only a mic.

IMO - That's not thick enough. The foam needs to touch, and be squashed by the cover when it's replaced.

Yes, I think you're right, but I don't make many calls from the car and it seems to work ok.
