Phone mobile phone problem samsung d900i

Just bought new d900i on o2 network it pairs ok with my ex but i cannot use the speed dial feature as the numbers 2 to 9 are pre assigned.as anybody met with this problem and solved it? any help would be appreciated.

Key 1 is usually assigned to the O2 network, but the rest of the numbers?

Pop into an O2 shop or even phone them up to get it sorted!
