Ive Had another thought, the plug which the Honda type footwell lights plugs into has spade connections, using small crimps with ends to match, would it be possible to wire up the footwell lights using this?

Maybe, was lucky, if i'm not wrong ,there are some exceptions, depending on
car's version...

Im still struggling to find the correct wire!

Does anyone have a photo of the actual connector i need to use.

I looked at a pdf how to and it says to use the vehicle 6 pin connector, light blue, the diagram shows it connecting towards the firewall if you know what i mean, as opposed accross the car??

is this right? cos i cant find this light blue connector!!

I did however find a white connector with a light green wire, but this only had 0.4v on it!

As an addition . .
Is the connector with the light green wire connected to the fusebox or is it seperate?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do but the easiest thing would be to wire them to the light in the glove box.

I will have a look for the how do, it's pretty simple and took me about an hour.

im trying to get the to switch on when the door opens...

Is the light green wire, a switched earth or live a switched live?

Looking under the dash the are loads of connectors and alot of them have a light green wire with two silver marks...

is the connector i need hidden behind the pannel with the bonnet release on?
