It was -2

Yesterday it was -7 and I was testing it with a frosted rear screen. Still nothing in terms of heated rear window action.

Trouble is, I was so concentrated on staring at the window, I scraped scraped ice off the plastic lower bit without looking.
After I noticed what I had done there was only Ci .com left of my sticker.

I then scraped the rest of it off as well. I'm glad to report it comes off very neatly and easily. At least when it is frozen.

No serious harm done though. It was bound to be gone anyway. The boot leaks, and the dealer's repair people have ordered a new window and spoiler for my car.

I'm getting funny looks from other drivers as I'm driving with the window open and my hand on the mirror feeling for heat

Mine did it this morning. I was 7 deg so certainly not frosty. I wonder if the climate when on auto senses the humidity and goes into a "demist" mode because it was also blasting air at the windscreen. Anyway, nice touch

Mine sime to demist frost the mirrors and maybe the rear window ill try next time i used anti frost stuff on it . anyone noticed when the cars parked that the temp seems high by good few degees ? In car park other night cars were frozne all over my car was in the middle of the car park not shaded or anything and the car said +4 c i laught to me self dream on car , it was only 3.4 inside so i know with frost on my car roofs etc it was around 0 or -1 or so ,the temp quicky came down to 1c then 0 after 2-3 mins of driving but thought were was the outside temp sensor, did it need checking to make sure it not blocked by leaf so something? . on the 307 that simes about right , with the car parked and down the road (the temp sensor was on the pass' wing mirror) , also as by the sound of some of you other was bit dissapointed but the lack of ice warning. on the 307 you got a message on the screen and the temp display keeped flashing and messages kept apareing with other messages like auto wiper when you started them. The car make a big enoght thing over seat belts doors open key in or low fuel etc so why not becareful ice about ? I know it not a big thing but another poorly thought out thing , if the 3c flashes before you start the car why not keep flashing after you start the car ???
Sorry all rant over im getting into rants now soon be 10 page essays

I dont need the car to flash constantly at me when it's cold. That would irritate and distract me! One nice warning on startup, or as the temp drops is enough.

I fint the external temp sensor (when moving) is extremely accurate. At least it can be calibrated if you find it is always out by a set amount.
