Electrics Cig lighter

Noticed tonight that the sig lighter on my ex has no light showing its position most other cars i have had have a diplay light that comes on with the lights have i got a problem or is this right

You're right I should get rid of the dirt bit at the end of mine. (too subtle?!)

One of the only few things that do not have a light in them.

There's the cig lighter and the over-ride for window controls. The stalks don't have lights in them. And the button that says mp3/wma doesn't light up. That one has no use so I guess that's why.

Any others? Engine cover and fuel filler cap thingies?
