Blank button on dash

Not sure if this has been covered before so here goes.
On my EX model i have a blank button oposite the A/C button. Any ideas what this is used for on other models?

Not seen it used for anything in standard trim.
Is it for cold climate use perhaps?
Or is it just so you can see the A/c button as other way round on LHD perhaps

It's blank on mine too. The one on the left as shown in that picture. I suppose it is used in LHD cars so the wheel doesn't block your view of it.

I thought it had something to do with dual-zone climate controls.

An unused button. What extra feature would you like to see in it's place?

And by the way, why would you be listening to Radio 1 in a LHD car?

You are correct Copycat the button is for the duel zone climate control

It is not for the dual climate control, that button is below the temperature control knob.

I think the blank is there just so the buttons match the design of the closed air vent on the other side of the dash.
