*beep* *beep* *beep* ....

Well, this time it ain't moan about seat-belt warning, but..

When I get home I sometimes need to do some stuff in garage, and I like to have radio on in car. To do that, I need to have key in position '1', but if I open door at that time, I get warning that key is in car, and car beeps constantly (and it annoys the hell out of me).... is there a way to turn off that notification?

Why not - turn the key to pos 2 - open the windows - then back to pos 1 for radio?

then you can shut the door !

I do the same; open all windows and keep the doors shut. There is a big advantage to this, too. Anybody ever had a door caught by the wind and hit a post or a wall?

The only time a find it midly annoying is when you are vaccing the car out and you want the radio on.

It could be worse... It could be the same as a dreaded Corsa, who's radio does not come on with the ignition, nor does it turn off either. The on/off button has to be pressed each and every time!

I've had the dreaded door blown in the wind thing recently, straight into a brick wall, fortunately it was the very edge of the door and the damage is superficial but my heart sank!
