Video Parking cam+ Ipod cable

Hi All,

i was wondering if anybody has Parking cam + Ipod cable on the Ipilot.
I orderder a 1.8 ipilot with these accessories but they didn't mount
the cable, because all rear slot on the nav was assigned.
I'm waiting for an answer form Honda, nobody seems to confirm
this at the moment..

Someone has tryied to ask for both of them?

The garage needs the additional cable for sat nav models,

Garage & tech support still say that is impossible to use
on an ipilot, rear cam and ipod link together.. no matter the cable..
I'm really sad

I really think you should go to a different dealer! The rearview camera plugs into the rear of the Navigation unit (DVD drive in glovebox) and the ipod connector plugs into the rear of the Head Unit (Radio). The audio functions are independent of the rearveiw camera!

In this post http://www.civinfo.com/forum/showpos...0&postcount=29 Pottsy has connected an MP3 player using the same Honda cable that the official Honda ipod connection uses; and he has the rearveiw cam installed too! So it does work and your dealer is wrong!
