Will depend on the satellites it's talking to but it will eventually work

Yep - done the same.

Checked in the SatNav diagnostics menu and I'm picking up the correct GMT time from 4 satellites right to the second, and that was from inside the garage.

Time Zone is being identified as WET, is that what it should be?

Maybe it needs to be manually set first so it knows what to add or subtract ?

I give up

Mine hasn't change yet after 2 drives of approx 15 minutes. Have to do a longer drive this afternoon, so will see if it changes then - and report back!

Just a thought - since the USA control the GPS time, and they have moved the date of their daylight saving time - could this be the reason?

If some peeps have successfully had theirs change maybe someone could post up their settings:

Auto Summer Time = On
Auto Time Zone = On
Time Zone = WET

Diagnostics menu Satellite time - is it GMT or BST in there ?

Doesn't WET stand for Western European Time ?

Just done about 3 1/2 hours in the car - still not changed! Sat Nav has been working fine, so seeing satellites OK

Also set to:

Auto Summer Time = On
Auto Time Zone = On

I had to manually change mine.

When I brought up the Sat Nav diagnostics screen it was showing the incorrect time from the satellites.

I had a 2hour drive and it didn't change, perhaps the US theory is accurate. Changed in manually in the end.

Yes another damn thing that doesn't work properly!

join (for me anyway):

Wash/wipe (no wipe when washing)
Voice control (useless)
Hands free phone (usable - but indifferent still)
Radio (deaf)
Auto lights (flash on and off repeatedly at dusk)
Noisy suspension (again)

Others have slightly different lists!

I've seen this happen before with my handheld GPS. Probably change at midnight tonight (Sunday).

Its linked to several satellites at once which are constantly feeding data to the car, inc. date + time.
