Phone Sat Nav & Phone install

After taking advantage of all the installation guides on this forum, I thought I'd share some ideas of my own.

I installed my PDA/TomTom mound as follows using the ventilation grill mount.
To the right is the magnetic Krusell mount used to hold my phone


The next image shows the PDA (HP IPAQ rx5935 Travel Companion) and the Nokia phone in situ:


The 12v lead for the Navigator was routed via the edge of the glove compartment and behind the centre console (accessed from the passenger foot well). Here, a 12v socket was pushed (it is secure behind the console) and leads from this were routed to the 12v socket in front of the gear knob.
I had to remove the console surrounding the handbrake but the wires simply pushed under the plastic and I didn't need to remove any other unit.
