It's so frustrating. Mine is a 0506 model and car has been in about 6-7 times to try and fix my HFT. I have a 20 min drive to work up the motorway, car went in again yesterday for the foam fix, but it's still not working right. From the pictures posted it doesn't look as though they've cut out the squares in the foam. I also had to phone their customer services as the garage didn't know there was a fix "haven't had this problems before"!!!

As well as the paint peeling off the gear stick and hand brake, grinding when I reverse off my drive (they said it's the back seats - load of rubbish) and the wheels corroding I've had enough. Then all the problems trying to get the ipod working, ended up buying a Dice connection from USA.

Why aren't these cars tested fully before they're sold!!

The DIY foam fix is different from what the dealers do as far as I understand.

You need to cut your own piece of foam with a hole in the middle to ensure the job is done properly.

Mine just had the Honda stage 1 fix which was some thin black gauze over the microphone surround. Fortunately this acted like Velcro for the foam I applied so it stayed in place whilst I clipped the plastic cover back in place.
