Satnav Sat Nav disc read error in the cold? Anyone else?

I got in my car when it was -9 on fri night and got a sat nav disc read error.. Does anyone else get this? I restarted ignition and it worked fine.

Had it once when in Slovakia... It was -11 there. Never had it since, so I guess nothing to worry about

Prob took a bit longer for the disk to spin up due to the cold.

I reckon you would have a disk error if you were sat your drive all night at -9 lol

I've had it a couple of times in the cold. I opened up the glovebox vent to get a bit of warm air circulating.

CD player on my previous car (a Ford) used to be the same in the cold. Worked fine though once it had a chance to warm up a little.

I'm getting 'disk read error, contact dealer'. Can't be to do with cold at this time of year. Should I just clean the disk? If I put a lens cleaner disk in, how do you make it play?
