Honda Sat Nav Unit Cost- Optional Extras
Hi,
Has anyone got the Honda Sat Nav unit fitted as an optional extra when purchasing their car or after they purchased their. if so how much did it cost or was you quoted? I am looking at a few CTR's and some doesnt have the Sat Nav units and i am just trying to find out the cost of fitting these with the dealers but dont want to be ripped off. 1 has quoted me 1500 which includes the bluetooth, sat nav and play dvds. Another dealer has quoted me around 1100. ![]() I would preferably like to stick to the Honda Sat Nav unit because i feel if down the years i plan to sell i think it will be more desirable to sell with the honda unit as opposed to a aftermarket unit. Thanks

It's been done before like this Retro fitting Sat Nav but it DOES cost a lot!
Probably the cheapest and easiest way is to get a aftermarket double din head unit with sat nav. It'll also upgrade your audio |

If thats the case then £1500 inc fitting is a good price?! |

But it'll be much cheaper to bide your time and wait for a CTR with satnav already built in to crop up. Sent from my Sony Xperia S using Tapatalk 2 |

Or go the double din route, the kit and fascia for the double din is only £179 (I think) and then you have to buy your double din stereo which is totally up to you on price Ash |

The maps on the DVD are quite out of date when you get it and expensive to replace. I had an EX, I rarely used the sat nav, preferring to use my TomTom, with traffic and cameras on it. I now have an SI-t which has the Pioneer 930BT Multimedia Navigation System already installed. Its a lot easier to update.
