D1 grounding kit install 1.8 FK2

Looks great. If you checked those points with a multi meter you should find the connection you have at the top of the engine is not earthed. That bolt does not touch any metal.

Sorry I missed the reply's.

Yes I have noticed the difference in that the car feels a small bit smoother and the lights stay brighter.

I moved the engine top one as it was not earthed and connected it to the exhaust heat shield.

I will post a new pic when I install my K&N 57i.

Hi shadzs
As descibed by parsco who also sells kit's

Heavy Duty Grounding Kit

stabilise idle
- give brighter lights
- give quicker engine starts
- reduced audio noise
- give better protection from potential engine damage from poor ECU outputs

Some say it increase BHP and you get better MPG etc... but I'm not really confident in saying this.

What we are trying to do here is equalise resistance and voltage between various ground points.
