Computer Hidden Extras ?

Hi all, new to the forum, i'm looking at getting a Civic 2.2 Diesel ES

Unsure if 06 or 07 plate though..

Any hidden extras / features on the cars that arent advertised in the specs ?

Also does anyone have a large night picture of the interior dash ?

the gallery is the best place to start looking - but I do recall (but can't find

) a nice one Pottsy took to show the hidden blue light effect...

anyone else remember where it might be?

What does the centre orange display show ?

Does it have doors open display and low tyre pressure indicator etc ??

This could be an expensive crimbo !!

The centre display is the trip computer, doors open, seatbelts, MPG, Avg Speeds etc etc

No Type pressure indicator though

That pic is of a EX dash which has the Sat Nav screen. The ES will be vey similar, but will have the standard radio display.

Does the Type S GT come with the nice blue lighting or is that another option???

It should be noted that the pic was taken with a LOOOONG exposure - the lights aren't normally quite that bright

But yes, the S gets the hidden blue LED (up by the map lights) too

(The R gets a red one I believe

)

shame, currently got a Pug 407 SW SE and thats got all the gadgets beleive it or not.. have wanted a civic since saw them on 5th gear ! Take it the CD player plays MP3 CD's... does the track name come up on the display ??

Does the ES not have the LEDs up near the map lights? My Golf has red ones that look really cool! If they aren't on the ES, can they be retro-fitted?

They all have a blue LED up with the map lights.

it's not very bright, but 30 seconds with a dremmel to enlarge the hole from a slot to a circle helps a bit
