Installed footwell lights now car won't start

I installed footwell lights to my 2.2 Honda civic. Than as I was placing the panel back all of a sudden all the warning signs lit up on the dash such as vsa, air bag engine management and car won't start at all. It's gone dark now so can't check the fuses but can some advice me on what may have happened and what I should do?

trying to find thread now, pretty sure there is a switch by the driver side footwell which is easily knocked and immobilizes the car

+1, easy enough to trip when putting the dash back together. Take off the right hand dash panel (that's covered by the door) and there's a circular switch in there you can press to reactivate it.

The lads and lasses here are very good. I've learned a lot about my car since becoming a member. 😃

Took the car for a drive and checked all the electrics to see if it's working. Everything seems fine. I'm learning new things everyday and it's getting me to confident which leads me to situations like this. Haha. Anyways once again much appreciated for the advice.

Ps installing footwell lights to dim is a big big frustrating job. Never again!!!

Tell me about I did mine Saturday and its a real fiddly job, I didn't bother with the scotch locks though, I could picture myself cutting through the wire. Instead I stripped back a small part of the sleeve and wrapped the led wire around and then tapped them up, they look good though

Cut through the wires with the scotch locks or you wrapped the wires around

Removed my interior panels to fit my connects2 and set off the fuel inertia switch. AA man said I'd better get my credit card out as my fuel pump was knackered...instead it was a 15sec free fix!

The scotch locks annoyed the heck out of me. In the end I got a hammer and crushed them. Lol. Also the how to I followed was for left hand drive car and layout was different on my car so ended up ripping the wrong wires!!! Eventually worked out which wires. But had to invest in a soldering iron coz the other wires snapped and I knew tape wouldn't hold them coz ther is noooo slack!! All of this stress and than it starts to rain so had to drive to a petrol station for cover while I wired it all back up.

Yeah the how 2 was bit confusing in the end I just looked at the colour of the wires and matched the plug to the how 2, took me a while to figure how to pull the connector off, it would of made more sense to put the clip you have to press on the outside of the connector not in between them both
