REV dots don't work

The REV dots on the dash don't work in my Civic.

The ECO ones on the other side work fine.

The rev counter seems to bo working fine too.

What could possibly be the reason?

You need to be nearing red line for them too appear, also I believe you can disable them in the settings.

scroll through the screen thingy and look through the settings

Sorry for a dumb question, I've only had this car for 3 days.

Where do I find settings?

Not sure I've seen these settings. However reading Rev indicator, you need to push the car a little for them to show.

You know on the steering wheel the arrows to scroll through the MPG, time youve had the car on, fuel left etc?

when parked and the handbrake is up, if you scroll you will see another option appear like a box, enter it and i cant remember what part it is for the rev indicator, but scroll through them all and have a look.

I havent had a civic for over 2 years so dont remember exactly

You really have to be revving hard to see them, after 3 months I hadn't seen them so purposefully revved high until they came on, I was in 3rd and it sounded awful. That was only with 2 of the lights on!

Found the settings, the rev display is enabled and the dots do light up when I put the key in.

So everything seems to be ok then.

Thanks for the advice guys.
