Parrot and Connects2

Anyone know if it is possible to install a parrot in an SE, along with a 3.5mm jack for an ipod or similar?

Plenty of threads about either, but wondered if it's possible to do both.

Hi Basegreen,

Had a parrot handsfree kit in my SE and worked a treat! having just got my sport I was planning on doing both of these additions. I can't see any reason why they should not work together, the Parrot uses the main connections of the radio Speaker wires, power etc... and the connects 2 uses the Multi stack CD connector.

Hopefully I will be doing both these within the next month or so, so unless anybody has done this already I will let you know how I get on.

Joe

Yep, have done it in my Sport, connects2, parrot 3100 and an DAB ICS100 DAB tuner and this means I can still connect and MP3 Player.

With it positioned up there, don't you worry about it getting nicked?

The Parrot or the DAB?? To be honest no as they aren't the kind of thing that can just be unclipped and flogged on, they both have 'black boxes that need to go with them and although the thieving litlle buggers aren't geniuses that do tend to know about stuff like that so there's no point in them nicking them. (at least that is I hope so)
