Parking Rear view camera temporarily stopped working...

Was unloading some wood for a bonfire and decided the car wasn't close enough, so decided to use the camera to reverse as close as possible, but when I went into reverse all I saw was blue sky...

Apparently it helps if you close the boot lid...doh!!
