LOL - I've never seen Flipping used in this context before eiter...
Btw - a lot of those FM's are really bad translations (especially "Norwegians") so you're usually better off without them....

Is this correct?
Locked the car up as usual, came out the next morning and found I had a flat tyre!! Unlocked the car, opened the boot (only) got the spare wheel and the jack out, closed the boot (due to the wind) and the car auto locked!! good job I didn't leave the keys in the boot.
Is this normal or do I have a problem?

Cheers
Joe

Yes, It does autolock BUT the alarm does not set... ie... if your windows are down and you stick your head in, the alarm wont go off. But if you lock it yourself with the thob and then stick your head in the car the alarm will go off...

on a side note, one step further to the standard system, im getting the latest Thatcham Catergory 5 Anti Theft system installed next month for free!! thatcham.org | Security | Security Categories | Vehicle Location and Tracking | CAT 5

- i look after the technology for a large monitoring station and cheekily asked if i could get a demo installed in my car, and they agreed!! So ill be able to track my car remotley, slow the car down, disable the engine, manage various controls etc.. cool eh?

I think the flat tyre is unrelated and is not normal

I don't think this sounds a good idea to me.

I think if the boot is opened then it shouldn't auto lock. As was stated, you could have quite easily tossed the keys in there rather than try to put them into a pocket with dirty hands (change of wheel).

If I remember, I'm going to try the same with mine.

If you do get chance to try Kremmen could you let me know? If this is normal then its not the best idea in the world.
The auto lock is a great idea granted, but surely opening the boot should be included with the rest of the doors.

Have just tested mine and it does not do this.

The car stayed unlocked and I had to lock it myself.

Left it for a while too.....

Check if your boot light comes on when you open your boot.

If not the car will not think the car was opened, and relock. Get the dealer to sort out.

I know it sounds silly, but the remote button cold not have been pressed by other keys in your pocket.
