Electrics URGENT - Power sockets

Help,
I've just parked my car and walked 15 minutes to the office. I left an ipod fm transmitter plugged into the power socket in the boot.

Is the power to this socket switched or continuous?

RELAX Have just confirmed for you and he answer to this is NO , but there is a cost for this info.

I went out to the car with the mini hoover wearing my PJ's, opened the boot and got dew drips all down my neck; the Postman then arrived and asked if I was having trouble sleeping and was this was my usual attire for cleaning the boot out and what did I wear for a full valet.To crown it all he then gave me my Tax bill.

Have a nice restful unstressed day in the office.
