Or pic 1 is for 18 " wheels and vice versus ?

What are the data measured for stock Civic : hp, wheel hp, torque , ... ?
well in first dyno is full stock (civic without cai....factory airbox, 17" wheels), and as I know 18" have more weight...Storms are on civic with CAI (18")....and if you know 18" or 17" Storm has more weight then standard alloy

So only ~ 2hp gain ... I've expected more, but this could be due the heavy 18" wheels, also ...
For instant K&N advertises (with dyno sheet ) for their Typhon kit (US civic) with 5.7 hp gain.

See these links from knd:

"I have a link somewhere, with some wheel weight.
Wheel Weights Specs Guide
and here is another one
WHEELWEIGHTS.NET

just a few good and light wheels: Kosei K1, OZ Superleggera, most of Rota(Sub-Zero, Circuit 8, Circuit 10 they are replicas of mugen wheels), Momo Corse (i have ones in my "future" old car :P....civic 1.8 is comming next week )"

So the "storm" are heavier ?
It will be interesting to see a dyno with OEM 17 inches wheels or lighter, we should see a 4-5 hp increase.
And a CAI gives another thing (not just hp) , you can rev faster in high rpm.

You can add a supercharger quite easily from what I've heard. But other than that there is not much else, mine personally seems to go rather fast [not type R territory, but fast enough for round here, not an autobahn in sight ] (I ran it in using the mototune method, and it seems to have kept it going well, if not helping the fuel economy much ).

Just to sort this out: I was trying to quote knd on this (but not successfully ).

My opinion is that a wheel should be as light as (practical) possible. Less unsprung weight is good for the handling on bad roads (which I drive regularly).

Talking about 17" wheels .... I'm not sure I've understood, which ones are heavier the stock ones or the "Storm" ones ?

Well, we are totally off thread topic now (as usually);
I have not seen any storm weights yet.
My stock 17" with primacy tyres weigh 21 kg each.

... please don't give us this line again !
The Type-R does not have 5 doors and some of us do have family and kids.
If a 5-doors Type-R will come in the future, I'll buy one

Nope, you dont
There is no VTEC changeover (as one would expect) on 1.8 engine.

By 'changeovers' it's meant VTEC kicking in... but on 1.8 it is not possible to hear/feel it due to way it works on this engine.

Nick 7 is right. our i-vtec actually works in 2 modes:
The first one (economy mode) under 3500rpm
and the second one after 3500rpm(normal mode)
We can have normal mode also when we have full throttle or full acceleration in any rpm's. Sorry...no type-r vtec mode for us!!!
