Not really, it's a small engine designed to be efficient rather than fast and it is a petrol. Other than the air filter (I don't think the mesh would do much, as thats more styling than tuning), it would have been easier to start with the 1.8 or 2.2 for more power as their really isn't much out there at the mo' for anything other than the Type R or a remmap which would for a 1.8 I have been told, 500 quid for a 5-10 bhp gain, not a lot really.
Give it a few years and stuff will become avaliable, also modifications may invalidate your engine warranty!!! Tom |

Oh, btw, have you informed your insurance about your 'mods'??? It will invalidate your insurance if you havn't, I had to declare all mine on my last car when I was your age.
