and Check System ON glowplug indicator flashing I used to have this regularly. A software problem was the route cause. It took a helpful dealer and an unhelpful Honda only about 11 months to come up with a software fix....... which seems to have done the job. |

Maybe a software glitch? Perhaps disconnecting the battery for a minute may help? (ECU reset). When did you buy the car? I got a Dec/06 iCTDI, not a single problem with engine electronics so far

Seriously though - there is a known bug that causes this fault - and a software fix available. Details in the threads already referenced. |

There is a fault there but it seems no-one knows the answer at the moment. I'll report back after it has been in again. I'd be interested to know if there are others experiencing this problem and what if any solutions there are. |

See the threads referenced in the second post in this thread. I did have a problem (which sounds slightly different) and after 11 months a software fix was applied which seems to have done the trick. I had to live with it for the 11 months though, which was very annoying.

Check System - Brake symbol
Thanks 3rd Honda. Have looked at the threads and whilst they refer to a Check System error message they aren't the same. The software update has supposedly been done twice in the last week. My dealer (deVries) is as helpful as they can be but don't seem to be getting much help from Swindon.
