Clutch slipping at 21500 miles!

2 days ago, my clutch started to slip in 3rd and 4th gear at about 2250 rpm. The revs rise to about 3000rpm then drop again as the clutch seems to reingage/ catch up. I don't ride the clutch, or drive with my foot on it. I'm gutted and will ring the dealer tomorrow to see what he says. HOWEVER he wouldn't need to give me all the "its a consumable item" crap. I'm long enough in the tooth, and have driven enough miles to know that at this mileage, this isn't right. I've NEVER had a clutch go before 110000 miles throughout my whole motoring career, 20+ years. Not a happy bunny
Oh, and I don't drive like a chav either!

Take a number there's a similar post today @ the same forum, looks to me like Honda has started assembling their clutches in Europe. Sad because their clutches were once known to last 250.000+ km. Well, such is life, at least we all (still) have warranty

I was in the service today and while talking, the serviceman said that a manual Civ had to change the clutch at about 30,000 km. The customer was insisting that he did not travel with the foot on, just like in your case; and Honda Turkey replaced it under warranty. The serviceman said that it was a rare case and Honda Turkey did not want news of bad relations with customers going around.
I hope HUK does the same.
