Just spoke to K&N and they estimate 3 more weeks. Sorry for the wait, but i will put it straight up on here for everyone.

Could the typhoon kit be modified to fit? Or was it too different fro the original intake?

It will be a K&N 57i induction kit. Doesnt come with the metal intake pipe like the typhoon kit, but a very good kit though.

as far as I know and saw few people who mounted Typhoon kint 57i on their civics and didn't need any extra modification to it or to car....few posts before I posted some people who have it here on forum...part number 69-1013TS on 1.8 without any problem or any modification....

I have fitted 57i induction kits to standard cars in the past. For example 2.0L Carlton and 1.8 Cavalier. Can't say I ever notice massive power gains, but I certainly noticed better driveability, improved economy and a great induction roar.

If you're a big baller, have lots of cash, and don't mind having to mod it to get it to fit in your car there's always this bad boy: RAM AIR SYSTEM

Another member on 8thcivic.com has this on his FA5.

Do you guys not have any intakes for your cars from Fujita, or Ingen?
