The best I have had is 52.1mpg over 30+ miles. This is probably the equivalent of a diesel doing 100mpg like Al S.

I cant get any more than 32mpg,

How did you manage to get 52mpg in a Type R.

I find doing about 40mph in 6th gear, on a quite road where your not having to stop and start helps reach that level of MPG

It required special economy driving techniques which are probably best not published in the interests of safety. Nothing illegal and I was going as fast as any other traffic on the road. Its quite good fun as well.

I am only averaging 31 mpg overall, with town and VTEC "fun" drives in the mid 20s.

Vtec'ing is the best thing in the world. When I got 23.2 yesterday my mate said I was a good girl

only because its roughly what he gets

If you want a comedy high trip computer mpg figure (over a short distance) will this do ?
