Hi Danko!

I notice you saw my other post about banzai tuning in Germany!

As far as I'm aware, the Remus exhaust is already available to buy from their website. Best thing to do is email them and ask for more info on the product. My German is a little rusty so I'm not entirely sure what the notice on the pdf is about. As far as I can translate, there is some issue regarding noise levels and EU law or something. I don't think it will affect us in the UK but it's best to ask them. Also I think some part might need to be bought from Honda on the 1.4 version. Possibly the Chrome exhaust garnishes or something.

With regards to the banzai tuning exhaust, it is entirely possible that this is the remus exhaust due to them both being german companies but again it's worth emailing them to find out!

Now the price for the exhaust from Remus is €459 (ex. taxes, shipping and fitting) for the 1.8 models and the same for the 1.4 but the 1.4 will need a bracket which costs €28.50 (ex taxes etc.) from Remus.

Remus have a good reputation with exhausts especially on bikes. I'm not entirely sure what the sound difference will be like but I imagine it will be a noticeable improvement!

Don't suppose you would want to change the exhaust on an oil burner? Make it louder!

Diesels have strange sounds with open exhaust... I heard few cars (mostly golf's) with open exhaust, and sound is - weird.

You can get the Remus Powersound exhaust from Elite Direct. They are based in Rainham, Essex. Costs just over £300.

It has an adjustable valve system so you can adjust the volume and tone of the exhaust note. OH WHAT FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just ordered a Remus Exhaust from Elite Direct!! Happy Chappy

They said it will be about 2-3 weeks delivery time, as its coming from Australia

Total price £300.80 inc VAT

You get the back Box, and the 2nd exhaust that's linked onto the back box for twin exhaust. They're not to sure about the rear Garnish just yet, but I might have to use my Original Honda one, if Ramus dont supply one.

Now just have to wait the whole 21days.

I'm really qurious how it is going to sound...
I am also thinking about it to buy one... but I first need a car!!
My throttle valve will be 100% open for sure! In the exhaust and on the engine also!

Danko.

I would really appreciate some feedback when you have it fitted as to what it sounds like, how easy it is to adjust, any problems with the installtion, that kind of stuff.

Out of interest what engine do you have?

if you do change the valve to alter the sound of the exhaust, remember to change it back when you do your MOT, just incase your emissions too high.
