Anyone used Celtic Tuning's Scotland branch?
Noticed that Celtic tuning now have an outfit in Scotland (Clydebank) Just wondering if anyone has used them and how they found it? Looking at the testimonials aswell it looks like the engine map can be done on your driveway.
Any info would be much appreciated. |

I've used them to remap my Suzuki Swift ddis, because the lack of power felt unsafe joining motorways/overtaking.
Afaik these guys don't come to you, didn't bother me as I only live a couple miles away.... What happens is: - You take the car in (its a small Audi centric garage), - leave the keys, - Go home - They get the remap from Celtic, copy to the ecu, and test the car. - a few hours later u come back to pick up the car. - They tell u to go away and test it for a while then come back - you pays your moneys then go for a long drive It is not the personal service that you hear from people dealing direct with Celtic... They have to fit you around whatever else they have to do on their broken Audis... I suppose it doesn't have to be, but I felt slightly cheated. Dont be put off though, just letting you know what to expect. The power increase was noticeable/usefull... but I sold the Swift (reset the ECU) four weeks later and got the Civic 2.2 (must not be let loose in showroom by myself). I don't feel even a slight need do remap the Civic, it's plenty powerful enough for me, not to mention its a much more expensive bit of kit to mess around with. S |
