does anyone know what sort of power this puts out?

probably somewhere around 80/90bhp. Hopefully someone who had one will know!

yeah, cheers mate. I know this is a forum for the new shape civic, but i thought someone on here is bound to have had the older style civic.

1.4 has 88bhp

The '03 Civic 1.4 uses a 88bhp 16-valve unit (non-VTEC), while the new-shape Civic uses the 8-valve i-DSi engine from the Jazz (about 83bhp, I think).
