It makes no mention on what engine they have, and I also have a feeling the poster is American, therefor has an American Civic.

I know they share the same 1.8 Vtec, but what other engines do they have?

the Si 2.0 i-VTEC (K20Z3) 197HP

If it really was an American car then I guess it was an i-VTEC... Where is it produced for the USA market?

ivtec in my first 06 euro civic lasted 14 miles!!!

went into limp mode at speed on the way back from the dealers, no warning

managed to limp home, then it locked me in and wouldnt release the doors (took a few restarts to sort that)

After a huge amount of messing about, i got a replacement car.
