i have just had a reply back and they said: The R18 Turbo Kit from TSI should fit your motor without much issue. The
only fitment issues may be in the intercooler mounting, and the plug and
play harness for the F/IC. If there is an issue there it will probably
be a simple matter of adjusting mounting points or rerouting a few wires.

i have seen this before

however... there is a video on youtube i have seen in the past

with the 1.8 being turbo'd...and to be honest...i wasnt that impressed.. with the speed i mean

me and a few other civinfoers were on the phone to rotrex for a supercharger and they said they could do a few for under 3k for us with 1.8s if i got enough people together... i think that would work better..

anyway...good luck,...and if it works post some videos! as il be game for one too!

A Supercharger would certainly seem to be the preferred option (for the 1.8 or 2.0) ...

In fact, I'd be interested in one myself (in about 15 months - after the engine warranty expires !) ...
