hi,

I'm thinking about getting in touch with Ziptuning in Utrecht and having my ecu remapped there. They seem to deliver more than what they promise.
Haven't found any negative experiences on the web.
OK it's a 200km trip but the 399€ price tag is really tempting.

Anyone from the netherlands with more info on them?

well they certainly seem to tick some of the right boxes

http://www.ziptuning.nl/chiptuning/H...pk.html#header

ODBS port - yep
decent power increase - yep - 140 to 170
proof that they have done one - well, no proof but they do at least have a photo of a Civic in what appears to be their workshop

only box I can't work out if they tick or not is regarding a seperate warranty - which may or may not be an issue to you

I saw Ziptuning's page and they are quite well known tuner company in the Netherlands. Price is good too.

If you go on further and decide to try their service please let us know is it a good solution?

Also if you manage to get your car onto rolling road and test it before and after that would be excellent!

That isn't *quite* in the Netherlands
Austria, quite a trip to do, just for a ECU upgrade

mentioned this in the other thread, but worth mentioning here too

upsolute might be a fantastic tuning company

but their main website doesn't actually mention our Civics at all.

And we've yet to confirm that the 2.2 engine in the Accord, when plonked into a Civic, will respond well to an Accord map.

Oops, shows just how hastily I skim through pages
Still a two hour drive for me though, a bit to far.

And hang on, I don't even have a Civic......Yet...

Hey we all can skim over anything reading only what we want to read, most of the time we miss the vital info

I'm sure a 2 hr drive would be worth it if it ups the performance 30-40bhp ...... so get out and buy a civic
