Check system fault

Had my check system light come on for the first time last week phoned my delaer right away, went straight in and all it turned out to be was a faulty glow plug relay, got it booked in for 10 minute job on Thursday. Have to say that is the quickest service I had for a while, usual bull is "sorry, don't have any time unitl.....2010, can you come in then?"

Might have a word with them about a Mic switch.

On another note, a few weeks back I filled in the customer questionaire from honda and put down a couple of points. About 4 weeks later got a call from Honda Technical who advised me to get the Mic gain (3 finger salute) reset at dealer and to ask about aircon (mentioned that I didn't think it was quite cold enough) and he said that they can just probe it and check the temp to what it should be, does get cold but takes a very long time.

Here's the funny bit, I mentioned about them checking any "Info websites" and he said they look at 2TA on a regular basis and any issues I should post there, well I mentioned that I had before but not any more, well it was kinda obvious as the name of the person he was calling was the same as the one on the website and did mention some posts but said they don't check elsewhere (find hard to believe ) anyway, spent about 20 mins chatting about various things and why Honda did or didn't fit some options (auto folding mirrors) but would look into them for future development, I suppose the cost is a major issue, if only a few mention something is it worth spending a million quid in the future?!?!?!?

If you do get the mic looked at I would welcome your thoughts, thats the only issue I have remaining with the car.

OK, the service guy at the dealer seems very good, he was friendly, polite and very quick at getting me down there and followed up with a call when the part arrived saying that I could come in whenever I wanted.....so I need to work the Pow charm and see If I can swap some info for a Mic swap (not sure if all dealers know about the doors, I'll give it a try)
