Performance rattle noise

Hi there. Sorry for my english if it's not so good but i'll try to explain my problem. I'v re-programmed my car 1 year ago and everything was ok until 2 months ago. When i acelerate it started to make a little ratle sound. now it's getting louder and louder. The car has been in the official shop for a hole month and they aren't able to find the problem. They suspect something about ejection but they say that as soon they plug my car into the computer it will automaticly upgrade and i'll loose the re-programming. Anyone had this problem ? Is there a way to test without loosing re-programming? thank you.
