Other check system fault warning engine logo lit

i got in car this morning and it was on inside the digital display engine logo and warning system check also engine light was lit on corner aswell i havent done anything but normal day to day driving any idea what it is and cheap fix
its a civic,06,1.8vtek 2006

i have just got this problem. been out in car all day parked up for 2hr then as soon as i started the engine this check system engine symbol on dash anyone have a fix for this. btw mine is a ex 18 petrol tx

its indicative of a problem usually, theres a thread in the "how to" section on how to read and clear faults if you can find out what the fault is we may be able to help
