Clutch upgrades
Hi guys and girls sorry if this has already been covered.
My clutch on my 2.2d is finally slipping at 75000 miles and instead of replacing it with stock parts i was wondering what people would recomend as a upgrade, i would like to have it it remapped later this year to about 190bhp with maybe 300lbf? If anyone could point me in the right direction for a decent clutch and fly wheel i would be very happy. thanks |

hello mate if youre going to change the clutch get the best you can, my choice is kestrels kevlar conversion but they need your old one to refurb so you will need to be without the car for a few days

Yes, had a Kestrel's kelvar clutch fitted to mine.
Get the best of both worlds. A smooth uptake with it handling up to 350lbs of torque. Paddle clutches have a more in or out action which puts more strain on the drive train and layshaft bearings. |
