Knock? Knock? - ECU
Finally getting the Civic on Friday and already planned my first 1000 mile trip, and I was wondering....
I used to fill up my old car with Optimax every now and then to clean things out, but it didn't have a knock sensor or addaptive ECU so I didn't gain the extra boost that the fuel was able to deliver. Does anyone know if the 1.8l i-VTEC is fitted with an addaptive ECU and knock sensor? |

I take it from PTR's post that there is an addaptive ECU and knock sensor then, and that the system although addaptive is pretty much running to the restraints of the i-VTEC, so gains would be marginal.
