I'm the same as most people here and get 420-450 on the average tank before the light pops up, or 450-520 on a more motorway based tank. Avg MPG 42-45 on normal driving for me. When I bought it it the previous owner had it showing an avg of 52MPG for the last 15,000 miles ... Must have been a saint!!!

I have found a difference in MPG when I fill at shell instead of tesco .... It's not in my head I promise!!!

For the life of me, I cannot understand how folk are only returning mpg figures in the low 40's and worse for a 2.2

Must be A LOT of very short stop/start motoring?

I'd struggle to get worse than 50 with all my mods - and I like to make progress, if you know what I mean.

take no notice of the digital MPG display... it's mile out... we've all discussed this before. I get around 400 miles to a tank which should be around 40mpg but my display shows 29-30mpg!!!

Based on 1 year of my FUEL LOG (Android) - my result is 6,2 litres on 100 kilometers. My range was, on full tanks, from 5,44 l/100km to 7 l/100km.

I'm sure im getting less than 50 with the same car as you, like you say quite a bit of stop/start driving!

Have been refuelling too often, makes me think am I really driving a diesel ! lol

At worst it should be no more than 10%.

It is a decent comparative tool, if nothing else.

I get about between 550 and 600km with a full tank I think is a bit low but here in malta we are always jammed in traffic and we do not have long roads. I drive normally on 60km/h but when i find way I always go 150km/h I am not a patient man

400 miles to a full tank is only 36 MPG in the Civic. But still, yours does seem to be way out. As above, should be out by 10% Max. Mine tends to over read by 3 MPG.

Since taking my time - on motorway I use c.c at 68 and travel 40 miles (return journey to work).

I get about 56mpg. I have FMIC with modded air box, 17" wheels (17kg inc tyre), I weigh 12 stone, ATR calipers discs and pads, with OEM Honda map box so I don't know if this makes a difference???

When I put my SMIC back on with 16" wheels, CTR callipers discs and pads and keep modded airbox I will do the same and take note of it.

Relic has kindly posted the FMIC better or not with data logs at WOT with and without FMIC so data can be seen in regards to Ve, MAP and MAF.

Time will tell! I will be back

i got a 2.2 with 18" alloys. i average around 48mpg at the moment and i do a 15minute journey 6 times a week so i dont get top mpg but i have just started using Shell V-power diesel which has increased my average mpg from 44 to 48 so could try using a different type of diesel.

i dont drive like a nun but im not a maniac neither

I get between 550 and 650 miles to a tank. Mainly motorway to work (160 miles round trip), if its a clear run closer to the 650, if its busy stop start on the m6 then around 550. I don't drive it like I stole it, but I don't drive like a granny either.

Very rare I get less than 500 miles out of the tank.

I do mostly motorway driving, 300 miles a week and £30 covers it.
So it's not a bad £10 for every 100 miles.

Well chuffed with that
