Odd Jerk

Hello all,

My 2.2 diesel has an odd jerk at low rpm when lifting off the throttle, say in traffic, or coming up to changing traffic lights.

I have read on here that this could be a sticking EGR valve, wondered if any one currently has the same problem..

Car has just covered 7k, and otherwise runs very smoothly (apart from a vibration at 60+ from the dash, using Pottsy's dash removal guide - centre console already out for a run tomorrow...!)

Thanks,

Rob.

Mine wasn't so smooth at low speeds a while back, but a change of diesel supplier cured it. All on a thread somewhere about dodgy fuel, have a look.

Have been using shell diesel extra, with the odd fill at sainsbury, no difference no matter what the fuel.

Any other thoughts?

No odd jerks in my car (apart from me, obviously) - so I'm guessing it will be a test of how good your dealer is....

None in mine either. Good luck trying to resolve it.
